Farmer's Story

Our family farm, El Hospital, can be found in the serene hamlet of El Sinaí, perched at an altitude of 1,760 meters above sea level. Spanning across approximately 20 hectares, the farm is home to 16,000 thriving coffee trees. My life has always revolved around coffee, and I take great pride in cultivating a diverse range of varieties, including Colombia, San Bernardo, Caturra, and pink Bourbon.

For 30 years, I have been passionately dedicated to farming and coffee cultivation, and by the grace of God, it has provided me with the means to support and nurture my family. Our close-knit household consists of my wife, our three children, and me. One of my children, who is not currently pursuing higher education, actively assists me with the daily tasks on the farm, while the other two dedicate themselves to their studies.

During the bustling harvest season, we are joined by a team of eight or more hardworking individuals who share our devotion to coffee cultivation. Through our efforts, we not only provide for our own family but also extend a helping hand to others by creating employment opportunities.

The gift of coffee has truly been a blessing in our lives, allowing us to grow, prosper, and share our love for this remarkable crop with others. Each bean that leaves El Hospital carries with it the essence of our passion, dedication, and gratitude, infusing every cup with warmth, flavor, and a touch of our family's love.
